Silent Woman and Echo Cave

Tuesday, 13th April
7 miles, 2,300 feet

Having moved from the Cathedral Peak Hotel to the Cavernberg Resort in the Northern Drakensberg, we were now joined by a hotel guide who would led the walks along with our Ramblers leader, George. Our first walk was to The Silent Woman, a rock carving created by Willy Chalmers in the 1950s. From here we made our way to Echo Cave, a large cave where lunch was taken before returning to the hotel.
