Ours is an active group with a large number of members, ranging from those who are keen to scale the heights of Scafell Pike to those who enjoy the social activities where they remember the walks of yesteryear. Our wide and varied programme is testament to the appetite for involvement in all aspects of the club. To enable the smooth running of the club we have a very active committee who meet regularly and look for new and varied experiences to offer to our members. Members are kept informed through the dissemination of walks programmes and details of social activities. We place articles in the local paper and deliver posters to libraries.
