| Start Point: | Beach car park, Hest Bank | Grid Reference: | SD 467 655 |
| Distance: | 9 miles | Ascent: | 146 feet |
| Time: | 4.5 hours | ||
| Weather: | Dull and rather misty | ||
| Comments: | Our group of 24 set off heading north along the Lancashire Coastal Way in rather misty conditions which masked the views of Morecambe Bay. It was quite wet underfoot in places as we made our way to Carnforth. It was a brief encounter for most of us before we regrouped at the mooring basin for lunch, as 3 of the group had a longer encounter at the station. The return to Hest Bank was along the canal tow path | ||
