| Comments: | 28 in the group. Quite a lot of
climbing. Very pretty walk along Twiston Beck and Ings Beck. Lovely
views of the hills as such a clear day. Excellent lunch at the
Calf's Head in Worston. Leaving to the south of Downham, the party
followed Downham Beck for a short distance before climbing gradually
to Raven’s Holme and Brownlow over reasonably dry and firm field
paths. Having reached Brownlow the group stopped for sustenance
before descending in the general direction of Twiston and then
Downham. |
