| Start Point: | Rivington car park opposite High School | Grid Reference: | SD 634 127 |

| Time: | 4.75 hours | ||

| Comments: | 21 walkers. The regulars were joined by a couple of visitors from Chorley Ramblers who shed some interesting light on the name of Tiger Clough (site of an illicit drinking still) and the site of Horwich’s plague burials. Some concern over the tipping of building waste on Horwich Moor which not only spoils its appearance but also interferes with the drainage. | ||
