| Comments: | 11 in the group. Conditions underfoot unseasonably dry. We passed to the east of Far Brown Hill and west of Chatburn Nab on descent to Easington Brook via Fell Side Farm and Skelshaw. Then went up the valley via Broadhead Farm, Harrop Hall, Harrop Lodge, Harrop Gate and Harrop Chapel to Harrop Fold which was our lunch stop. Then climbed past Swan Barn, through Grindleton Plantation, returning via St. Clare’s and close to “Old Ned and The Wife”. | ||
