| Start Point: | Foulridge Wharf | Grid Reference: | SD 888 426 |
| Distance: | 8.3 miles | Ascent: | 900 feet |
| Time: | 4.33 hours | ||
| Weather: | Mixed sunshine and overcast to snow showers | ||
| Comments: | We left the Fylde in bright sunshine and arrived at Foulridge in a snow shower. This was the pattern for the day, as we made our way across the fields and past the reservoirs and canal. We could see each shower approaching and although each one was quite heavy it did not last long and did not lie on the ground for very long. | ||
