| Walk: | Heskin | ||
| Start Point: | The Farmers Arms, Heskin Green | Grid Reference: | SD 531 153 |
| Distance: | 5.5 miles | Ascent: | 300 feet |
| Time: | |||
| Weather: | A sunny but cold day | ||
| Comments: | Frozen fields and tracks with icy patches caused a few slips and prostrations on the ground. Fortunately without apparent injury! From higher ground near to Charnock Richard Services a snow clad Winter Hill could be seen to the East, hazy views of the Fylde to the West with Lakeland fells being just discernible. A three course Christmas Lunch for less £8.00 was enjoyed by many of the group at The Farmers Arms. | ||
