| Comments: | 26 brave souls fearlessly faced the winter elements in Whittle-le-Woods and Wheelton. About an inch of snow was lying at the start of the walk with plenty of ice on side roads and pavements. The start of a prolonged snow shower led to the walk being curtailed; Withnell Fold and Wheelton were omitted from the route as we returned down the Leeds to Liverpool Canal. Great winter scenery. | ||
