| Comments: | Joan led 15 walkers from Knott End car park. It was dry but cold as we walked over the golf course. Fortunately there were very few golfers, probably because it was Mothering Sunday. We followed the track of the old "Pilling Pig", then through a field of guinea fowl before reaching Back Lane at Town Foot. There is much evidence in the area of work being done by the Canataxx Gas Storage company who seem to have put up "private" notices in various places during the last month. A worrying thought! The return to the car park was along the Wyre Way, along the shore line at Barnaby's Sands, past Hackensall Hall, over the deserted golf course and along the promenade. A very pleasant walk. | ||
