| Weather: | Cold (5 degrees C), sunny after heavy rain overnight | ||
| Comments: | Group of 37 lead by John Hayes, a
moderate amount of muddy areas after the heavy rain of the previous
night. Light wind kept wind-chill to a minimum. Landlady at The
Manor Inn very accommodating for our group. Some stiles were
slippery but generally in reasonable repair. Terry spoke of the
death of Kevin and a minute's silence held before the walk
commenced. |
