| Comments: | A heavy shower fell as 13 of us assembled at the picnic site. Brenda announced that there were three opportunities to buy an ice cream en route! A gentle stroll along the road to Hollins Lane and the A6. Then across fields and down lanes to the canal. Coffee time by the canal at Cabus Nook, then along a track to the A6, over the River Wyre and back to Scorton Village where a few people took the third opportunity for an ice cream. Return to the picnic site by the footpath alongside Cleveleymere. It had stayed fine but as we reached the cars it poured down. Good timing or what! | ||
