| Comments: | Twenty-seven walkers departed from Spring Wood car park at Whalley. Much of the walk was along good tracks and minor roads, with good scenery and viewpoints. The group enjoyed hearing about the Abbey and viaduct during an early detour. The tracks and areas near the reservoirs were quite boggy, making the walk more difficult but, nevertheless, enjoyable. For lunch we sheltered from a bitterly cold wind in a hollow near Parsonage Reservoir. We had some snow flurries on the return journey by Deans Clough Reservoir, Sunny Bank and Miles Hill. | ||
