| Walk: | Dodds - White Side, Raise, Pile of Stones, Sticks Pass, Stybarrow Dodd, Watson's Dodd, Great Dodd, Little Dodd, Calfhow Pike, Clough Head, (6Wainwrights) | ||
| Start Point: | Legburthwaite | Grid Reference: | NY 318 189 |
| Distance: | 13.9 miles | Ascent: | 4,000 feet |
| Time: | 7 hours | ||
| Weather: | The weather was cooler than expected with a broken covering of cloud allowing some sunshine at times. No rain encountered all day. | ||
| Comments: | A short gentle climb led us to a much dried out path that took us to Fisherplace Gill. At this point the hard work of the day commenced by ascending directly to White Side. Of the 12 people who started the walk 3 found the going a little tough and decided to break away from the group. The remaining 9 had a good walk along the tops before descending and returning to the start via the high level route along the shoulders of High Rigg. | ||
