A brief pause by Sow How Tarn before . . .

finding a comfortable spot for 'elevenses'

Detouring to avoid the mud - probably the order of the day after all the rain we have had

Still, all that water provides some good reflections

A few 'ups' and 'downs' around here, as we approach . . .

the Monument on Cartmel Fell

A rocky descent as we leave the monument

And some rocks to provide a good seat for lunch

At least the stepping stones aren't completely submerged!
